wala wala lalala

job hunt update: MND, MFA, MCYS, MEWR, MOE

well, met up with my twin yesterday. chit. i must say there are so many pubs and restaurants in Holland V that i was spoilt for choice. but in the end, we chose my favorite - Wala Wala. plus, it was a Friday night, which means EIC was playing. pizza, chicken wings, beer, and great music. together with great company, makes a great night.

finally met up with her after countless promises to meet up since May. and the thing that struck me most was the working crowd, gathered around tables, catching up with one another. well, i, too, was gathered around a table, catching up with her, except i'm not part of the working crowd. and while many people around me are telling me that i'll get a job soon, the wait is really a dreaded one.

and i really want to add, the organizations that are supposed to be the most efficient are turning out to be the least efficient. i mean, if you need people, the most logical thing would be to focus on hiring people, so that you have more manpower to get the job done, isn't that so? but if you're trying to get as much things done as you can with the limited amount of human resources you have before finding time to hire people, byt the time you hire people, there wouldn't be any job left to be done, then it forfeits the purpose of hiring people, no?

another thing i realized that my conversations with friends tend to lead me towards setting up a business. i don't know if these conversations are serious, or they just make for interesting topics, but i guess it's something that i'm starting to seriously consider. the idea is beginning to form up in my head, and i really should start working on it. you want to know what the plan is? sorry, either you know it already, or you don't. so if you have no idea what i'm mumbling about, go figure yourself. (no, i don't mean fiddle yourself!)

soon, i may release a glimpse of my very own business! but being the procrastinator that i am, just hope that i do get down to doing it.

let's hope...

m.
